The team is in charge of hosting fun and engaging social events such as study sessions, activity nights, or planned outings for ACM members to build and strengthen connections. The team also works hard to run the Bit-Byte (mentee-mentor) program every year and promote an EDI friendly community.

Vice President Membership

Overview

The Vice President Membership (VP Membership) is in charge of ACM's community building. They oversee the entire membership team, which is at the forefront of ensuring that we remain a member-first community. Current membership programs include the Bit-Byte, Diamond Staff, Discord server, ACM Store, and our socials.

VP Membership also has the responsibility of overseeing ACM Store. They package orders and run merchandise distribution events, and have stand ups with Finance and Design to discuss what merchandise to add to the store.

Another exciting program that VP Membership oversees is the Diamond Staff Program. Fall quarter they send out applications and match them with different teams on ACM, and Winter quarter they have check-ins with staff members and mentors.

Additionally, VP Membership is responsible for doing all that they can to ensure that their team successfully supports the organization's membership, whether that's checking in with community directors or hosting a few meetings each quarter.
